The Giottos MT9250 MT II Series Classic Aluminum Tripod is a
professional-level tripod that is part of the MT II series which features
classic styling and incorporates professional features and design. It will
support equipment weighing up to 11 lb (5 kg) and folds down to only 24"(61cm).
Since it weighs only 3.3 lb (1.5 kg) it is easy to carry.
The leg locks utilize a special design that makes them sand-proof. The leg
sections feature an anti-twist design, and the center column can also be used
upside down and reversed. The anti-twist center column lifts for fast camera
positioning, and has a safety lock so that the it doesn't accidentally come out.
The top sections of the legs come protected with non-slip neoprene covers,
for better handling in extreme weather conditions. The MT9250 also comes with a
padded tripod case and tripod carry strap. It also has a retractable hook that
can be used to add stability with a sand bag or equipment bag. The features of
this versatile support make it an ideal tripod for use both indoors and
outdoors.
