Fine finishing, made of black anodized aluminum (camera body mount) and brass
silver (lens mount) the KIWIFOTOS LMA-L(M)_M4/3 mount adapter allows the Leica M
mount lens (made by Leica, Konica, Voigtlander, and others) to be used on any
Micro Four Thirds (4/3) system camera body (Panasonic Lumix G1, GH1,GF1 and
Olympus E-P1 and EP-2).
There is no electronic communication between the Leica M mount lens and the
Micro Four Thirds camera body. Auto Focus will not be available, however. Use
the lens in the fully manual exposure mode or in the aperture priority (AE) mode
auto-exposure and stopped down-AE Manual Metering. Preserves all focusing range
up to the infinity point.
Note: 99% or more of all Leica mount M lenses are probably compatible with
the adapter and camera.
